Introduction

FrameFree Studio analyzes your images and, through a special mapping process, allows you to generate any number of interpolated frames between them.

Using the world's most advanced pixel-matching and interpolation engine, FrameFree Studio analyzes your still images and automatically creates stunning motion graphics with them. For the producers of high impact Internet-based, mobile, video or Digital Signage content, FrameFree Studio offers a new level of visual expression.

Size matters
When producing for smaller devices and network delivery, file size and bandwidth constraints are constant considerations. With FrameFree Studio output to our revolutionary file format, FrameFree Media, sizes are reduced dramatically, even at resolutions up to 1920x1200.

Easy switch from digital photography to digital video
With our easy-to-use, drag-and-drop interface, you are seconds away from crystal clear, high resolution motion graphics. Just drop your digital images into the workspace and preview the result immediately. Our image mapping and analysis does most of the heavy lifting automatically, but you can still add “hints” to help fine tune your vision and add special effects. In the FrameFree Studio authoring environment, your still images are treated as keyframes, while our interpolation engine does the rest. This totally unique approach to content creation lets you select the elapsed time between keyframes, giving you never-before-seen control over your project’s length.

FrameFree Media format, brings a level of interactivity to your productions unmatched in other formats. By mixing mouse control with our smooth "frameless" interpolation, you can allow the viewer to move back and forth or zoom in and out of the movie without compromising the quality of the image.

High Definition content for Digital Signage
FrameFree Studio is a perfect match for authoring full HD, network distributed Digital Signage media. Use every pixel of the high definition screens and forget about blurry images and compression artifacts of the conventional video. Costs for creating high resolution content have never been lower.

The following movie was made from just two photos. FrameFree gives a 3D look without the overheads of the 3D production. Any person with digital camera can start making movies in a matter of minutes and publish them on the Internet in a format specifically optimized for it. Exported into FrameFree Media (*.FM3) file format it takes only 72KB for a 320x512 sized animation. The same animation exported into uncompressed AVI takes more than 70 MB! While exported into compressed *.MOV file it takes 736KB - more than 10 times the size of the *.FM3 file.
  • FrameFree Media files (*.FM3) store only the keyframes, while animation is done by the software. As a result *.FM3 file sizes are a fraction of regular video formats.
  • The quality of the output video is as good as the quality of the input images. There is no motion blur and no compression artifacts.
  • Time stretching is a no brainer with the FrameFree Media. Double or triple the length of the movie by simply dragging the keyframes and still have an infinite number of "in between" frames, same file size and quality. This operation with regular video will nearly double the file size which is many times bigger to begin with. Time stretching allows not only achieving incredibly smooth "bullet-time" motion, but is also perfect for syncing with the sound track. In the FrameFree Web Player time warping is utilized in the scratching functionality, allowing users to fully appreciate the quality of the imagery.
  • Exporting to FrameFree Media files is an almost real time operation, compare to a lengthy and CPU demanding compression process for regular video file formats.
  • FrameFree Web Player is available for most popular browsers, including IE, Firefox, Safari, Netscape, and Opera
  • FrameFree Web Player supports user interactivity (HREF linking, panning, zooming, scratching, audio control and other) and can be controlled via JavaScript API. See FrameFree Web Player options in detail
  • FrameFree file format is a perfect match for High Definition Digital Signage applications. Finally there is a technology available that allows to produce and distribute full HD video at a low cost. See our Digital Poster line of products for Digital Signage.
  • FrameFree movie files can be protected from unrestricted distribution. See our FrameFree United Networks services for details.
